1. Rental Requirements
To rent a trailer from Haywood Trailer Rental Solutions, you must:
• Be 25 years or older
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Provide 2 forms of ID (Driver’s License + one additional ID)
• Provide proof of auto insurance that covers towing
• Have a vehicle with the proper towing capacity and hitch setup
Important: Responsibility for the trailer transfers to the renter once the trailer is
hitched to your vehicle and remains with you until it is unhitched and returned.
2. What’s Included with Your Rental
Each trailer rental includes:
• 4 heavy-duty straps
• Wheel chocks
Optional Add-Ons:
• Hitch/Receiver Lock: $10 per rental (recommended for load security)
The coupler lock is included and must be used whenever the trailer is parked and not
hitched.
3. Pickup & Delivery PolicyPickup (You Meet With Us)
• Pickup is by appointment only
• A team member will meet you at the pickup location to hitch the trailer
• We confirm ID, insurance, and vehicle compatibility at pickup
• You are responsible for safe transport once hitched
Delivery (Preferred Option)
Delivery is available within a 30-mile radius.
Delivery and pickup fees are one-way, not round-trip.
Pricing:
• 0–10 miles: $____ per one-way
• 11–20 miles: $____ per one-way
• 21–30 miles: $____ per one-way
Same-Day Rentals
• Same-day bookings are available by delivery only
• Subject to availability
4. Payments & Deposits
• A $200 security deposit is required to reserve any rental
• Deposit is non-refundable
• Full rental payment is due before pickup or delivery
• Accepted payment methods: ___ (fill in once chosen: Zelle, CashApp, CC, etc.)
Deposit will be refunded within 1–3 business days after inspection if no damage, fees,
or missing items apply.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
We offer a flexible cancellation policy for the rental fee only.
• Cancel 48+ hours before your rental: Rental fee refunded (deposit kept)
• Cancel less than 48 hours before: No rental refund (deposit kept)
• No-Show: Full rental amount and deposit are non-refundableThe security deposit is always non-refundable.
6. Late Returns
Returning late affects other renters and delivery schedules.
• If the trailer is returned late, a full extra day rental fee will be charged
• Late fees will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the card on
file
7. Damage & Responsibility
• Renters are responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or missing items while the
trailer is in their possession
• Coupler lock must be used whenever the trailer is parked and not hitched
• Missing or damaged equipment (straps, chocks, locks) will be charged at
replacement cost
• Cleaning fee may apply if the trailer is returned excessively dirty
8. Insurance & Liability
• Renter must show proof of auto insurance that covers towing
• Renter assumes all liability once trailer is hitched to their vehicle
• Haywood Trailer Rental Solutions is not responsible for damage to the renter’s
vehicle, cargo, or third-party property
• Renter is responsible for complying with all towing and safety laws
9. Customer Conduct & Safety
To ensure a safe experience:
• Use proper towing and safety procedures at all times
• Do not exceed trailer weight limits
• Do not allow anyone to use the trailer who is not listed on the agreement
• If any issue arises during your rental, contact us immediately
